Could I use a K+DCan cable to send ibus messages?
I would like to know if I am able to send IBus messages to my E46 BMW 325i through the an BMW D+KCAN INPA cable, like this one, that uses the FTDI FT232R chip? I've looked at existing projects that are able to send IBus messages using Reslers' USB interface, which connects directly to the ibus cable in the car. I would prefer to not make a permanent connection but rather a temp one.
Those projects are:

This feels like such a niche question, it really aught to be asked on a dedicated BMW website rather than Stackoverflow.
