Mysql convert time to sec then insert into table using the command : SELECT TIME_TO_SEC(timing) FROM chrono SELECT TIME_TO_SEC(timing) FROM chrono I would like to convert the timing column format from hh:mm:ss to seconds then insert results into another table called timing_in_seconds . timing hh:mm:ss seconds timing_in_seconds could you please help achieve this operation?
