The WBA, IBF and WBO champion, 28, beat Wladimir Klitschko in North London in April 2017 but has since fought twice in Cardiff.

However, AJ is now set to leave the Principality Stadium and head back to Wembley, saying it's "in his blood".


Eddie Hearn announced the news, taking to Twitter to reveal: "AJ’s coming home!



"Delighted to announce @anthonyfjoshua next two fights will be at the National Stadium @wembleystadium September 22 and April 13 - September show announcement next week."


On the move, Joshua added: "Being north London born and raised, it is in my blood.

"Wembley just added a fourth lion to the den."


Hearn recently teased the potential for the long-awaited Joshua vs Deontay Wilder clash, by revealing he was en route to New York - home of the US boxer.



Joshua would unify the division by beating Wilder, but must face mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin of Russia first.


But Wilder, 32, rejected Hearn's opening £15million, two-fight offer, insisting on £40m instead.
