The 2018 US Open is underway at Shinnecock Hills but comparisons are already being made between it and the 2004 event.

What happened at the 2004 US Open?


2004 was the last time the US Open was held at Shinnecock Hills. 


The par-three seventh green was called "unplayable".



Due to high winds and dry conditions the course had to be watered during the last round after two players putted off the green.


Winner Retief Goosen and runner-up Phil Mickelson were the only golfers who finished under par.


Ernie Els - two-time US Open winner - called the seventh green "ridiculous" and "unplayable".



What have the organisers said about the "farce"?


IN the run-up to the 2018 event, United States Golf Association boss Mike Davis said: "We look back on 2004 and we admit, we as an organisation erred.



"In that final round in 2004, we were seeing well-executed shots not only not rewarded but in some cases penalised. That's not what we want."


Davis, who was at the event, told the BBC recently: "When I took the flagstick out and walked back off the green, people started throwing things at me.


"I literally got hit by cups and paper and all sorts of things. It was dreadful. I still feel awful about it."


When is the 2018 US Open?


THE US Open will be held at Shinnecock Hills. 


It started on Thursday, June 14 and ends Sunday, June 18.

Export result set on Dbeaver to CSV Normally I use Dbeaver for windows and always export my result set like this: run my query --> select the result --> export the result set --> select export to clipboard --> done This step by step puts my result set in my clipboard and I can paste it wherever I want to work with it.
