WWE star Ruby Riott could agonisingly miss out on SummerSlam after WWE confirmed she had suffered an injury.
The Monday Night Raw grappler has been diagnosed with a sprained medial collateral ligament in her left knee following an MRI this week.

WWE confirmed the news in a statement but did not provide full details of the damage suffered.
Depending the severity of the blow, she could be sidelined for anywhere between three weeks and several months.
And that means the impressive Leader of the Riott Squad, which includes Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan, could be out of the Biggest Party of the Summer in Brooklyn on Sunday 19 August.
Riott, 27, last wrestled at a live show on June 26 against Dana Brooke.

And it was during this match that she is believed to have been injured.
She was absent for this week's episode of Raw and is thought to be on crutches.
Riott joined WWE in December 2016 and was initially introduced onto the NXT brand.
She was moved up to the main roster within a year as part of the Superstar Shake-Up in 2017.
