Mysterio made a surprise return at the Royal Rumble in January to the delight of fans.

That led to rumours of another potential bout at WrestleMania 34 in April.

Despite that failing to happen, he did feature in another one-off appearance at the Greatest Royal Rumble Match in Saudi Arabia in May.

Mysterio left WWE in 2015 after 13 years working for Vince McMahon and has since participated for a number of promotions including Lucha Underground and New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
