THERE are still three weeks until WWE gets hardcore at Extreme Rules on July 15 – and there’s still a lot up in the air for the superstars of Raw.
The big question is: who’s the next contender for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship? Here are five things we learnt from Raw last night.

The Extreme Rules multi-man match is off
The show opened with a re-run of last week – Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley squabbling about who should face Brock Lesnar. But Kurt Angle dropped a bombshell.
Paul Heyman has claimed of social media that Brock Lesnar is pursuing “ultimate” opportunities until WWE can find an opponent worthy of his box office.
So the multi-man number one contender’s bout at Extreme Rules – which Lashley and Reigns were set to compete in – has been cancelled.
In another re-run, Lashley and Reigns reluctantly teamed against The Revival – but this week the Revival rolled up Reigns for an upset win while he argued with Lashley.
Multi-man match or not, WWE is building towards Reigns v Lashley, a clash between two babyfaces that fans don’t want to cheer – and nobody wants to see.

Natalya got revenge for her pal Ronda Rousey
Alexa Bliss and Mickie James came out to gloat about Bliss’ cash-in at Money in the Bank – and the fact Ronda Rousey has been suspended.
But Rousey’s friend and wrestling mentor Natalya showed up to announce she was facing Bliss there and then, which was news to the champ.
Natalya then brought out Natalya’s opponents at Extreme Rules – the former Raw Champion Nia Jax – to stand in her corner.
After some interference either side from both Nia and Mickie James, Natalya got a submission win when she synched in the Sharpshooter.
Should the devious champ Alexa be tapping clean on TV mid-feud?
Either way, we’d rather see Alexa wrestling the hugely talented Natalya over another Nia Jax match any day of the week.
Bayley and Sasha Banks are going to counselling
Last week the rocky Bayley and Banks’ friendship finally blew up with a backstage brawl – so this week they naturally were forced to team up.
They joined Ember Moon in a six-woman tag against the Riott Squad, which the hilariously un-riotous Squad won when Ruby rolled up Sasha.
Bayley immediately jumped on Sasha with a savage beat-down – to a huge response from the crowd. It was Bayely’s best moment in well over a year.
Backstage Kurt Angle informed both women they will attend mandatory counselling next week.
Honestly, if all friends who turned on each in WWE went to counselling, there’d be no time for anything else.

Braun Strowman’s mind games are driving Kevin Owens crazy
Talking of BFFs, Braun decided he did want to be KO’s friend after all – and secured a tag match for himself and Owens against Finn Bálor and Baron Corbin.
Despite the terminally dull Corporate Corbin, it was a fun match. Braun and KO got a count-out win when Corbin and Finn began fighting amongst themselves.
Afterwards, KO went to shake Braun’s hand – but the Monster just stared back, prompting Owens to quite rightly scarper.
When he got to the parking lot, he found Braun had flipped his car upside down. Poor KO.
If it was anyone but Braun, this would look like extreme workplace bullying – but the crowd goes wild for everything he does.

Drew McIntyre has screwed Seth Rollins out of the IC title
The show was headlined by a Dolph Ziggler v Seth Rollins rematch for the Intercontinental Championship.
It was a typically exciting bout from the two workhorses. You have to respect Rollins’ commitment to putting on five-star matches every single week on Raw.
After several near-falls, Rollins had it won with a super-plex and roll-through Falcon Arrow – but Drew McIntyre yanked the ref out of the ring for a DQ.
Dolph and Drew started a beat-down on the Architect, but Roman made the save – going face-to-face with the impressive Drew McIntyre.
Reigns knocked Drew out of the ring with a Superman Punch, but this issue isn’t over. Reigns and Rollins v Ziggler and McIntyre? Now there’s a match we DO want to see.
