Sri Lanka captain Dinesh Chandimal charged with ball tampering after ugly scenes in Test against West Indies

SRI LANKA captain Dinesh Chandimal has been charged with ball-tampering against the West Indies.


The International Cricket Council (ICC) said Chandimal was "charged for breaching Level 2.2.9 of the ICC Code of Conduct" which relates to "changing the condition of the ball".

Umpires Aleem Dar and Ian Gould raised concerns about the condition of the ball towards the end of day two of the second test in St Lucia.


However, the Sri Lankans were unhappy with the Umpires and took to the field two hours later in protest on day three.



After lengthy talks between match referee Javagal Srinath and Sri Lanka's coaching staff, the tourists decided to resume the test.


The Sri Lankans were told to play but could not continue with the existing ball.

The West Indies were awarded five penalty runs and Sri Lanka eventually agreed to take to the pitch with the ball being changed.


Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) later released a statement denying foul play by any of their players.



It read: "SLC advised the team to take the field to ensure the continuity of the match and wish to commend the decision taken by the team to continue with the game 'under protest' to ensure the upholding of the spirit of the game.


"The team management has informed us that Sri Lankan players have not engaged in any wrongdoing.
"SLC shall take all necessary steps to defend any player, in the event any unwarranted allegation is brought against a member of the team."

Export result set on Dbeaver to CSV Normally I use Dbeaver for windows and always export my result set like this: run my query --> select the result --> export the result set --> select export to clipboard --> done This step by step puts my result set in my clipboard and I can paste it wherever I want to work with it. The problem is that now I am using dbeaver for mac and this guide is not working.
